RON LEVINE- Mandolin, Guitar, Singer

Mr. Ron Levine- (White Hat = GOOD Guy) - Mandolin & Guitar Player, Singer & SONGWRITER - has brought new dimensions to THE MARS HILL PORCH PICKERS with his unique mandolin chops, superb guitar licks, and his deep, soft, raspy singing voice.  His voice and mandolin have a mellowing affect on his songs.

He has a unique style which helps blend the notes & music together bringing out a rich luster to each song.. while at the same time Bending those mandolin and guitar strings with bright and crisp resonance.

RON hails from Chicago but after 30 some odd years and playing with various bands we have made him a Refined Southern Gentlemen- but his accent is still a bit strange at times.

He would rather play his guitar and sing than EAT! He and his wife Sherry sit around and sing songs together just for the fun of it.

We are very excited about his talents in music which are bringing the MARS HILL PORCH PICKERS to greater heights.

He has played with numerous bands around Greater ATLANTA and performed lots of Solo gigs in the Acworth, Kennesaw, Cartersville, Dallas, Canton, Powder Springs, Marietta and other areas. For years he was with a Bluegrass Gospel group touring around in many Churches in the area.

So we are honored to have Mr. Ron Levine with us as a full fledged MARS HILL PORCH PICKER..  Come out to our Gigs and let RON know how much you like his music.  HE is a real neat guy to know! Get his autograph too - he is famous!
