Brothers and Sisters of Mars Hill,
One hundred and seventy years ago, God placed Mars Hill Presbyterian Church at the crossroads of Mars Hill Church Road and Acworth Due West. Years later, the church was moved to its current location at the crossroads of Mars Hill Road and Highway 41/Cobb Parkway in northwest Cobb County. In that time God has worked His miracles through the many generations who have called Mars Hill their church home.
Today, Mars Hill is at another crossroads: The intersection of current capacity and future growth.
We are faced with a rapidly growing and changing community that represents expanded opportunities for our ministry teams while simultaneously exceeding the capacity of our existing facilities.
To help us meet future demands, we are in the midst of a capital campaign to raise funds for new and larger facilities. This campaign, "Growing God's Vision" is an opportunity to answer God's call so that we can continue serving our community and congregation as we have these many years.
A successful capital stewardship campaign will enable our church to continue supporting and to expand our ministries. Your support of the capital stewardship campaign ensures that Mars Hill Presbyterian Church will be "Growing God's Vision" at these crossroads for another 170 years.
In the weeks to come you will be hearing more about the "Growing God's Vision" campaign. If you have questions regarding the campaign or its purpose, please feel free to contact a member of the steering committee by clicking the "Questions and Answers" link in the upper left hand corner of this web site.
We value your support and look forward to hearing from you.
