On May 18th, we will celebrate the wonderful work God is doing at Mars Hill Presbyterian Church through our "Growing God's Vision" campaign and building program. During both services on the 18th, we will have the opportunity to reaffirm or adjust our commitments. Our newest members will have an opportunity to make a two-year commitment. At 11:45, we will continue our celebration with a groundbreaking service at the site of the new fellowship hall followed by a covered dish lunch - bring your favorite dish to share. Please take a moment to sign-up for the lunch in the narthex so that we may have seating planned for everyone. Look for a "Growing God's Vision" newsletter in the mail that will provide more details along with an update from our building committee.

Dear Mars Hill family,
There are so many things to be thankful for here at Mars Hill as God continues to do wonderful things in and through His church. It is hard to believe that it has been almost a year since we completed our capital campaign "Growing God's Vision"! Your continued generosity in giving towards this campaign has been a blessing. It is now time to see some fruits of our efforts and giving as we come together on May 18 during our morning services to worship God and see God's vision begin to take shape. Following the services on Sunday morning, we will participate in a groundbreaking ceremony and time of fellowship during a covered-dish lunch.
As we begin our second year of our capital campaign, we are planning a mini-campaign as part of this anniversary celebration. This mini-campaign has a three-fold purpose:
- To provide our newest members with an opportunity to
make a two-year commitment.
- To provide an opportunity for people who made a
commitment last year to adjust their commitment,
depending on new circumstances.
- To keep our building plans and capital campaign fresh in the
minds of our people.
Please join me in praying for the leadership of our Lord's Spirit during these exciting days. I hope our church is a blessing to your life and that together we can continue to be a blessing to others in and beyond our church. I look forward to seeing you on Sunday, May 18, as we prepare for the next steps in "Growing God's Vision".
